I have added an additional resource for you to use as you read and study the chapters. If you do not have time to make notes of your own, use the chapter outlines (follow the link provided under resources) and the C-note strips. The steps for using the strips are as follows:
The C-Note Strips can be found on the "Resources" page AND on the "Chapters" page. It is important that you still keep the essential questions (EQs) in mind as you read the outlines. To find the EQs, look at the chapters Cornell Notes paper.
The podcasts on the linked page are a good set up for the American Revolution. It explains in a simple way the problems the colonies had following the Seven Years War and the taxes that were placed on them. Give them a listen. They are no more than 30 minutes each. Give them a listen:This link is to the Revolutions Podcast Page. The entire second season is on the American Revolution, Check it out. It can also be found on iTunes and Audible.

The website below offers a chapter outline for each chapter. Click on "chapter outline" in the second step of the study plan. If you can't read the entire book, at least read the outline and take notes. Each chapter also has great links to practice quizzes/tests, videos, and vocabulary flashcards. |
